Hi "X" End Table

Specs:

25" tall. 12" x 24" top, rendered as lightly stained red oak. Fully fabricated from 3/8" thick steel bar. Mirror polished nickel finish.

The Story:

This table was designed for a client that had just re-done their kitchen and had granite left over from the slab they had to buy to make their counter tops. They wanted a rectangular end table with a chrome base. The design was left completely up to me and this is what came. I feel lifting the cross above center makes the table a bit more dynamic with the use of the golden proportion.
