Scimitar End Table

Specs:

24.25" tall. 1/2" thick x 27" diameter glass table top. Fabricated from 1/4" steel plate with polished nickel finish.

The Story:

This table was designed for a client that had just re-done their kitchen and had granite left over from the slab that they had to buy to make their counter tops. They wanted a round end table with a chrome base. The only direction I received was for the table to be round and a general height. I love the way these forms work together, especially how the center support brace gives visual closure to the open circle of the base and how reflections play off of one another.
